It began in a home filled with the deep aroma of South Indian filter coffee and the calming scent of traditional incense. For my mother, fragrance was never a luxury—it was a language. Growing up in a household where tradition breathed through every doorway, light and scent were the pillars of our day. From the patterns drawn at the entrance to the fresh jasmine flowers often found in her hair, scent was how we remembered our roots and how we welcomed peace into our present.

As a son, I watched her hands. Those hands, which had navigated the complexities of building a life in a new land, were never still. They were always creating, always tending to the sacred brass lamps that illuminated our evenings. One quiet night, as the scent of sandalwood lingered in the air, we spoke about the "light" we wanted to share. We decided to blend our deep-rooted love for floral decoration with the modern aesthetic of minimalist art. My mother brought the ancestral wisdom—the understanding of how the scent of blooming Jasmine or the richness of traditional oils can shift a mood. I brought the vision—translating those ephemeral moments into our signature "Wax Flower" bouquets.
